A R Rahman celebrates 44th birthday, 3 music albums in the offing!!

A R Rahman, the music maestro of India who won Oscar award for his original scores in Danny Boyle’s acclaimed flick ‘Slumdog Millionaire’, celebrates his forty- fourth birthday today. The Mozart of Madras is all set to come out with three new music albums this year.
They are Gautham Menaon’s ‘Vinaani Thandi Varuvaya’, Mani Ratnam’s ‘Raavan’ starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Vikram and Shankar’s ‘Endhiran’ again starring Aishwarya with southern super star Rajnikanth.
As is well known, A R Rahman is by nature a very private person in the matters of celebration, but is likely to make his statement with above-mentioned three mega musical release of the year.
A R Rahman, who was born a Hindu and was known as Dilip Kumar before converting to Islam, is married to Saira. He has three lovely children Khatija, Rahima and Amin. The maestro is completely devoted to the world of music and discards ostentatious display.
A R Rahman has also been working for some of the biggest Hollywood flicks like Universal Pictures ‘Couples Retreat’ and Danny Boyle’s upcoming mega budget flick ‘127 Hours’. Ashok Amritraj has also assigned the music of his flick ‘Street Dancing’ to A R Rahman.
In bollywood A R Rahman will be providing music to Abhishek Bachchan-Aishwarya Rai starrer flick ‘Raavan’. Earlier, he had provided music to some of the biggest blockbusters like ‘Guru’, ‘ Lagaan’, ‘Rang De Basanti’, ‘ Roja’, ‘ Taal’, ‘ Dil Se’, ‘Rangeela’ and ‘Ghajini’. A R Rahman has his own music label KM Music and founded a music school in Madras, wherein highest standards of musical research and purity is maintained.
