Yes, Salman Khan turned director for his upcoming comedy film Ready with Asin and Zarine Khan. Though Anees Bazmee is the film’s director, Salman too got to wield the megaphone for some of the important scenes in the film. How?
It happened that while Ready was on the floors, Anees Bazmee got busy with the promotions of his film Thank You. Meanwhile, Salman Khan got busy with his shoot of Bodyguard. So, Ready was pretty much lagging behind when the duo resumed the shoot again. And they had to meet the June 3 deadline for the film’s release.
To hurry things up, the film was then shot simultaneously at two locations with two teams of crews. While Bazmee was the director at one location, Salman wielded the director’s baton at the other. Later, the two would meet up and discuss the day’s work.
Though Bazmee seems happy with Salman’s directorial skills, Salman himself doesn’t plan to become a full-time director. Why? Too much stress in directing, says Salman who prefers to stay light and jolly.
