Diwali is that one time of the year when Bollywood goes full throttle to celebrate. This year, however, most seem set to celebrate in a big way abroad, especially London. Actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Aamir Khan and Arjun Rampal are a few of them, who’ll be out of the country for work purposes.
For Kareena, Diwali will be a sombre one in London. “Though I love celebrating Diwali with friends and family, this time it will be a low key one. However, I will be accompanied by mom in London to attend the premiere of my next film. I’ll then be unveiling my wax statue there. Besides, Aamir too will there shooting for the film that we are doing together, and we have worked our dates accordingly,” says Kareena.
Sources also add that since Shah Rukh’s film premiere is in London, many of his friends from the industry will be there to support him. These friends include close pal and co-star Arjunwho’ll be there with his family and filmmaker Karan Johar. Filmmaker turned actor, Farhan Akhtar and his film Don 2 team, including actor Priyanka Chopra will be there to cheer her favourite star. “That will also totally depend on her work schedule,” said the source.
